Captain of Learning
Greg’s career has spanned over 30 years of working in both the field of higher education and information technology, often combining the two fields in his career choices. Professional titles have included his current position of UMKC IHD’s Training Coordinator, as well as Director of Online Operations and LMS, Assistant Dean of Faculty, Sr. Systems Analyst, Chief Technology Officer and Educational Media Technician. He most enjoys working with others to write, research and produce educational products that inspire a multitude of learners and associates by facilitating the discovery of their unique gifts so that each of them can experience the wonder and delight of learning and growing.
As a learning architect and strategic planner Greg collaborates with subject matter experts in I/DD to make creative and engaging solutions for the production of online training projects, videos and websites. Education includes a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University, a Master’s degree in Instructional Design & Technology from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Communication Arts from Loyola University.
Greg’s good life includes being an involved husband, dad and granddad as well as serving in church, playing guitar and a micro-business selling original photography.
