Brian is a Research Aid at the Institute for Human Development. He provides information and referral support for the MO Family to Family team. He joined the team in 2019 as an undergrad student working towards his bachelor’s degrees. Brian is a self-advocate and brings his personal experiences of being an individual with Special Healthcare Needs. As a child of parents/immigrants from Chihuahua, Mexico, he has a strong passion for helping other Latino families. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.

Brian’s good life includes watching a Netflix series, and spending time with friends and family. He enjoys photography and traveling.
